Update and Prayer August 10

Update from Fr. Shaw Mudge:
We are hoping to go down to Peru early next year, but we have to raise
sufficient support, first. We are off to a very good start.

As of now, we are planning to move in early September to
North Greenbush, NY.
If things go smoothly for raising support, we could have the following scenario:
"mission month" in Colorado, Mid-Feb to Mid-March.
If that happens at that time,
I'd aim for April in Peru, but before that happens,
SAMS has to give its final approval and for that to happen,
SAMS has to verify that we have sufficientsupport,
we have to have doctors physicals, etc.

We are planning to be commissioned as Missionaries and talk at the Diocesan
Missions Conference on October 11.

Psalm 67:
May God be gracious to us and bless us
       And make his face shine upon us,
That your ways may be known on earth,
       Your salvation among all nations.
May the peoples praise you, O God;
       May all the peoples praise you.
May the nations be glad and sing for joy,
       For you rule the peoples justly
       And guide the nations of the earth.
May the peoples praise you, O God;
       May all the peoples praise you.
Then the land will yield its harvest,
       And God, our God, will bless us.
God will bless us,
       And all the ends of the earth will fear him.

God, our Father, be gracious to Fr. Shaw, Mother Julie, and Lydia Mudge. Jesus, God the Son, shine upon them and enable them to reflect Your Glory to all to whom they minister. God, the Holy Spirit, empower the Mudges to share Your Ways and Your Salvation wherever they may be, here in the Albany Diocese, in Colorado and in Peru.
May all the peoples praise You; may the ends of the earth be in awe of You. We ask for your grace and blessings upon the Mudges and all those with whom they will be in contact. Amen.
