Fr. Shaw's Prayer Mail Sept 15

Thanksgivings:
1) Our residential visa process has been great so far.
2) The seminary classes that we teach at Santos Agustin are beginning this week
3) Our parish ministry at the Mission of Ascension is getting underway
4) Our diocesan ministry in Peru is getting underway
5) That the healing ministry at the mission of Ascension is off to a very good start.

Prayer requests:
1) For the students in the classes, that they would learn what they need for their ministries from the courses that we teach.
2) For the students in our mentoring group, that God would answer their prayers in his way and in his timing.
3) For the diocesan youth ministry/family ministry day on Saturday, that all who attend would be blessed and strengthened in the love of Jesus Christ.
4) For my celebrating the Holy Eucharist at our mission church of Ascension on Sunday, that the occasion would be the Holy Spirit's blessing on that day for all who attend.
5) For the registration-card step of the visa process, that it would continue to be a speedy and joyful experience.
6) For the finances, priorities, and relationships in our ministry, as well as the finances, priorities, ministries, and relationships in the seminary, the Mission of Ascension, and the Diocese of Peru.
7) For the Life in the Spirit seminar for clergy and their spouses, which begins on September 26.

Thank you for praying for us. It makes a difference. I pray for you every day.

God bless you.

In Christ,
Shaw, and on behalf of Julie and Lydia
Lima, Peru
