Weekly Prayer Mail

Dear Friends in Prayer,

Thanksgivings:
1) That Hannah is recovering nicely from the flu. She went to theCDC regional statistics website for her area and figured that there was a 2,700:15 possibility that she had the swine flu.

2) The prayer service that was held on Sunday evening was awesome. It was the first healing service at the Mission of Ascension, and the Holy Spirit touched the lives of everyone there in some way. Among the people we prayed for were Hap Carrier, Faye VanDermark, and Nigel Mumford. It was just awesome.

3) That the courses that we are teaching continue to be a blessing to the students. We are hearing reports as far away as Belize that the Old Testament course is a blessing.

Prayer requests:
1) Lydia's visa process. An attorney at our parish yesterday speculated that the way forward is the path that we are on, and that confirms what the sense that I have had when I pray. The current step is that Lydia' birth certificate be notarized in Hartford, Connecticut.

2) For the courses, mentoring groups, and ministries that we are involved in. This coming Sunday is a Mudge Sunday at the Mission of Ascension: I celebrate the Holy Eucharist. Julie preaches. Lydia is on the healing prayer team. All in Spanish. It is All Saints Day.

3) For the Priorities, Finances, and Ministries of the Mudge family, Saints Augustin Seminary, and the Diocese of Peru.

4) For health, for those needing healing prayer, including: Hannah, Nigel, Faye, Hap, John, Dave, Sonia, Juan, Bp. Godfrey, Raquel, Celia, Luis, and the others on our hearts and minds.

I pray for you daily. Thank you for praying for us.

God bless you.

In Christ,
Shaw, and on behalf of Julie and Lydia
Lima, Peru
