Psalm 20: 1-5 and 7

May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;
May the name of the God of Jacob protect you.
May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.
May he remember all your sacrifices
And accept your burnt offerings.
May he give you the desire of your heart
And make all your plans succeed.
We will shout for joy when you are victorious
And will lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.
Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
But we trust in the name of the Lord our God.

Lord, thank you for answering the prayers of and for the Mudges when they are in distress and when they are at peace. Thank you for sending them guidance when difficult decisions need to be made. Thank you for protecting them during wild taxi drives. Thank you for all the help from clergy friends and from the laity as well. Thank you for the continuing financial support needed for the continuation of their mighty ministry in Peru. Thank you that their plans are your plans and that you send your Holy Spirit to make sure that these plans succeed. We praise you, Lord, for all the progress made in a few short months: vast improvement in Spanish language skills, anointed seminary teaching, anointed healing prayer, and advancing administrative details about the ordination process in Lima. All of this success is to your, glory, Lord. Throughout all, we trust in your name, Lord our God. Amen.
