New Mudge Prayer: July 13

Psalm 85: 8-13

I will listen to what God the Lord will say;
He promises peace to his people, his saints—
But let them not return to folly.
Surely his salvation is near those who fear him,
That his glory may dwell in our land.
Love and faithfulness meet together;
Righteousness and peace kiss each other.
Faithfulness springs forth from the earth,
And righteousness looks down from heaven.
The Lord will indeed give what is good,
And our land will yield its harvest.
Righteousness goes before him
and prepares the way for his steps.

Lord, we thank you for your promises to your people, your promises of peace. We pray especially for this peace for Fr. Shaw, Mother Julie, and Lydia Mudge. Let them know your peace in every decision that they prayerfully make and may their actions bring your glory to Lima, Peru. Bless them especially this week as they prepare for baptism of the Holy Spirit in the Life in the Spirit seminar. Your love and their love for you and their faithfulness meet together while righteousness and peace kiss each other. Thank you for granting the Mudges what is good and we look forward to the spiritual harvest from the Life in the Spirit Seminar and from future mission work. Prepare the way, Lord, prepare the way, every step, for a rich spiritual harvest in Peru. Amen.
