Scripture Prayer

Genesis 12: 1-3a:

The Lord said to Abram,
“Leave your land, your relatives, and your father’s home.
Go to the land that I will show you.
I will make you a great nation,
I will bless you.
I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
I will bless those who bless you.

Father God, we thank You that the Mudges have heard your call to leave their family in the U.S. and the Diocese of Albany and go to Peru. Thank You for the many blessings that You have bestowed upon them and the good things that they are doing in Your Name. Thank You, Lord, for their intercessors and for the blessings that you have showered upon them as well. We pray for continued blessings, especially on the new Seminary semester to start in February, on Mother Julie’s trip to New Wineskins, and on the visit of the Mudge trio to the Diocesan Convention in June. We so look forward to seeing them in person again. Thank You, Lord for Fr. Shaw and Mother Julie and Lydia Mudge. Amen.
