Prayer Mail from Fr. Shaw

Tuesday 19 May 09.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Peace be with you.
Diocesan Convention is coming up on the Diocesan calendar, and as of tomorrow, we will have been in Lima for a month.

Thanksgivings:
1) Learning Spanish is a life-long endeavor, but we are making great progress, daily.
2) We are getting to know Lima better, and we have great friends to help us.
3) Thank you for praying for us. I pray for you daily.

Prayer requests:
1) Preparing for and settling in to our new apartment, starting next Monday.
This process will take several days, probably, between language-school sessions: to retrieve books stored in a garage, furniture stored at the cathedral, belongings stored in another apartment, and our clothes and some belongings in our current apartment, etc.
2) Learning Spanish. We have sensed your prayers on this.
3) Learning Lima and preparing for teaching classes.
4) Continued prayers for health. We are doing better.

God bless you!

In Christ,

Shaw, and on behalf of Julie and Lydia.
